Voicing Our Silence
WOO HOO!!! My documentary, Are we doing enough? was just chosen as one of ten films to be screened at an international film festival in India called "Voicing Silence"!! We were chosen out of 40 international entries from all around the globe...we didn't really think we stood a chance. This is an incredible dream come true for Yazid and I. Wow. It's a very meaningful film festival too, which makes our selection an even greater achivement for us. If nobody will take notice of this issue in real life here in Malaysia, at least our film is being noticed in other countries and at local film festivals...which means, people do actually realize the importance of our message....but what really matters to me, is hopefully someday something will be done about it here at home.
