Grow up Will you

Sometimes, I really wish girls could be friends like guys can. Men…don’t hold grudges forever or bitch behind each other’s backs a lot…or get mad at each other for silly little things. In my opinion, friends should be for life…unless of course they insult your family, religion or do something along those lines to offend you…whatever it is, it has to be MAJOR.

It AMAZES me how some women can be so incredibly petty and immature about certain insignificant issues which, I believe, in the grand scheme of things…really doesn’t matter in life. How on earth do some girls expect to maintain fulfilling friendships with other women, if they are totally and completely over-the-top sensitive and selfish about their needs and expectations?

I mean, lets be a little bit more grown-up shall we? If one of your friends does something that hurts your feelings or offends you in some way…then TALK ABOUT IT. Reason with one another and just be mature about it…don’t skulk around and stay angry and let it fester inside…that’s the worst thing you could do. Real friends discuss, with openness, issues which bother them. There should be no awkwardness, hidden agenda, or judgment involved…communication is key. And if you feel like you CANT talk to that person, then you should seriously consider whether or not they are worth spending energy on.

And for those of you who often feel like your best friend or someone close is always mad at you for something or another…or they always say it’s “your fault”…really take time to step back and examine the situation…is it really something YOU did? Or is your friend just trying to play games or demand you PROOVE how devoted you are to them? Hello! Power trip! A lot of times, the problem doesn’t lie within you…it’s most probably THEIR issue. Don’t apologize for being who you are.

I'd much rather spend time watering my plants than being with some i.s.h.a.f.

Friends worth having and worth keeping…are the ones who are totally honest and upfront with you about everything and anything…no games…no bullshit.
